Legend - Stories of a Nation, shares the essence of the Ukrainian culture through stories and the many regions of Ukraine. Using all original choreography by Melanie Moravski Dechnicz, the dancers will bring these regions to life with energy and excitement.
The features piece of ‘Kyiv’ tells the legend of Kyi, Shchek, Khoryv and their sister Lybid, as founders of Kyiv. This new work represents the birth of the Ukrainian nation through its capital and goes on to show Ukrainie’s endurance and constant struggle for freedom.
