A radiantly witty one-woman comic drama that explores how to cope when the world you’ve built comes crashing spectacularly down.
Divorced and abandoned by her irritatingly round-headed husband of many years after he dumped her for a younger woman, Angela (Mandi Lodge) is left to deal with an empty nest, a disapproving mother, a misogynist lawyer, some dubious counsellors, a bad case of hypochondria and the spectre of poverty. But, if you don’t laugh you’ll cry, and so with only the family dog Axal for company, Angela mourns her marriage, picks up the pieces, and learns to live whole again.
